Vivo X300 Pro Review: Flagship Mobile Photography. Redefined.
The Vivo X300 Pro builds on last year’s X200 Pro with meaningful upgrades in design, performance, and especially photography. Priced at ₹99,999, it targets advanced users and mobile photographers who want pro-grade shooting tools in a slimmer, lighter form factor.
Design & Display
The phone features a refined flat design with Vivo’s new Coral Velvet Glass, a smaller camera bump, and the trademark ZEISS circular module. It offers IP68/IP69 protection, an aluminium frame, and weighs just 226g.
The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display delivers excellent clarity with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4500-nit peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and TÜV certifications. Bezels are slimmer and symmetrical, making the viewing experience truly premium.
Camera System
The biggest highlight is the ZEISS-powered camera setup:
-
50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor
-
200MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera, up to 20x zoom
-
50MP ultra-wide
-
50MP wide-angle selfie camera (92° FOV)
The new telephoto system brings APO certification, ZEISS T* coating, adaptive zoom flash, and multiple focal lengths from 0.6x to 10x, delivering high versatility and accurate colour science. The X300 Pro also supports the Vivo ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender, previously reserved for the Ultra series.
Software & Usability
The device now ships with OriginOS, replacing FuntouchOS, and includes a customizable shortcut button along with dual SIM + eSIM support. Ergonomics are improved thanks to the slimmer build and lighter weight compared to both the X200 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Verdict
The Vivo X300 Pro brings notable camera upgrades, a premium display, improved design, and next-level telephoto capabilities, making it one of the strongest photography-focused flagships of 2025. For users prioritizing imaging performance, the X300 Pro offers exceptional value—especially with the ZEISS telephoto extender available as an add-on.
